Could I have a few suggestions as to which cooler to attach to a Q6600 which may be overclocked in the future.

Aim: Cheap, good and avalible on Ebuyer.

I've currently spec'ed a Hyper TX2 (£9.28) but it's out of stock. What other option are there? Hopefully for a similar price as we are on a tight budget.

What are Alaska Fans like for example, or the artic cooler alpine 7 Pro?

Many Thanks
Jeremy

Most good coolers are happy on a q6600 sitting at up to 3 GHz. Beyond that the heat is a bit much to stay cool without needing to get really noisy. The AC7 will do.

These also fall into that low noise/good cooling category :

Zalman 9700
Coolermaster Gemini II

Zalman is overpriced for the performance it gives. The AC7 is a much better deal.
