Hi greywolf I did not know where to put but my friend dave got me to this site and I just joined but I was trying to input a software package from my read write which I never had a problem before, but the message I am getting is Windows Installer can not be assessed do you know the answer or where I could get it

From my read write drive.

I put the disk in and the r/w is fairly new and the message I got when trying to install from the setup on the disk

was

Windows Installer is not assessable or able to load

is there a fix for this

What do you mean by your "read-write"?

What was the program?

What version of XP do you have?

Have you scanned with Malwarebytes for malware?

Please describe in more detail what you are trying to do, where the error occurs, and what the error is.

I think by the read/write, you mean your CD or DVD drive?
So are you trying to install something off of a CD or DVD?
