Hi im Stephen and have been reading these forums for quite a while now,but down to business.

Well im getting a 3870 for christmas and buying my self a new power supply(antec 500w earthwatts)

My question is this,i have a MSI p965 express chipset Neo board with a pciex16 slot.So will i need to update the bios for the new 3870?

Also i expect 500 watts will be fine for a e6300(no oc) one optical combo drive,1 hdd and the 3870.

I don't think you have to update the bios, but it's always a good thing to do so.
