I have a Toshiba 53HX71 for about 3.5 years. The RED color started
getting crooked on the screen so the picture looks fuzzy. Does anyone
have any idea what might be happening. Do I need to replace the RED
tube?

Almost certainly not a bad tube. Likely a bad channel in a convergence
output IC. Could be a couple of other things but this is the most common.
Call a tech who services a lot of Toshiba and get an estimate. Repairs will
likely range between $200 and $400 depending on the market if this is the
problem. DCU repair would be more expensive but less likely.
