OS: Vista Ultimate and may dual boot to Linux/OpenBSD

All specs is good except...

RAPTOR???? I think you dont need that one. buy a 1TB Seagate and RAID it the speed performance is not that far plus more storage for video editing. Video editing needs more storage. You can edit without a RAPTOR. HDD nowadays are fast already considering they have a huge cache and fast design. Seagate has the speed crown in 1TB compared to Raptor the performance is not too huge a RAID setup can help.

I highly suggest buy a HDD cooling accesories it will make your system much stable, you dont want to freeze at the middle of editing, do you?

You did not indicate an operating system. Microsoft Desktop operating systems won't allow the use of 8GB of memory. Are you using a server OS or 64 bit version?

Vista Ultimate supports 8GB as far as I can tell.
I may also dual boot to Linux/OpenBSD.
