Hey,
Looking to build a powerful machine for around $1000. I have a new widescreen monitor, windows xp, and 160gb ide(ribbon like cable) 7200 caviar. I enjoy some games(nothing hardcore) I play call of duty 2 . I use the machine for photoshop video editing, and webdesign. I might start gaming more. I also stream movies to my flat panal lcd in the living room. I need the best component recomendations, video card, motherboard, memory etc. Sli or no Si? q6600 or q6750? I appreciate any recomendations? Where to buy?

for gaming I absolutly will go for Q6600 only if you are going to over clock if not get 6850 wish performs better at stock speed if q6600 is not overclock. Since you use the pc for Photoshop, video editing, Q6600 will be the best choice since photoshop takes advantage of Quad cores. This is the pc config im going to build for my friend, you might be intrested.
