huge difference between the temps of the cores ... was a 8-9 degrees when i bought it, now i see 8 on core 4 and 21 on core 1 ...

Is that delta or actual reading?
What are software are you using to read the temps?
If you are not using Coretemp, you should see what that reads.

Post your temps idle and load before we can help more.

Possibly faulty sensors, as well as uneven contact area with IHS and cooler. Probably poor tuning of the sensors.

thats actual reading ...
here are my temps now using coretemp
9 12 3 3
all cores are almost idle.
I must say it got a little better , but a 9-12 C difference scares me a little
Most of my friends have 3-4C between the highest and the lowest core , 5 at the most.

faulty sensors , i can live with that , is there anyway to know which one of the temps is closest to the actual , .. the bottom ones are close to match the cpu

The best way is to exchange the cpu for a new one. Faulty sensors, or rather inaccurate sensors aren't uncommon. I guess you'll have to ask Computronix on this for more info, he's the temp master around here. :sol:

alright , newyas i tested with realtemp , on stock it gave me 0 movement on the 2 cores that were 3C .. so i oced to 4.0 and added a crap load of voltage , strangely , the two cores seemed to remain at 3C , but i got a rather huge 22 20 17 17 (delta)... guess its the 5C difference in the delta as well .. thanks anyways ..
