yes very vague. Give some more information.

How many computers will be networked.
Is cabling already ran
do you have to purchase hardware (switches, etc)

Basically are you strating from scratch nothing present, or are you working with an existing network, or previous setup?

Well now given that you've a school network, I'd guess your budget is about $3.50. (Go away monstah!)

Presumtions: 30 computers, 2 printers, 1 router, 1 workgroup switch.

You'll surely have a lot of fun with this. If you have budgetary clout, buy a bunch of cheap laptops from Dell and wifi the lot. They'll give you a discount for a bulk buy. Of course if you're stuck with 2 dozen they-once-were-white desktop boxes then demand more pay.

Sorry, I thought you said School, not Mueseum. XD

Seriously though, demand more pay.

Wow, 90's macs... Did they even have TCP/IP back then?

5 3/4? I thought it was 5 1/4 (5.25" )... If you're planning on using them, dust them out before you do anything else. Also, if you find yourself at the shops, buy some network cable, RJ45 jacks, a crimper and a 40 pack of asprin. You'll probably need it.

I'm not saying it can't be done, though I would wonder how you value your time.
