BIOSTAR MB

I have a BIOSTAR NF61S AM2 SE MB. I also have a Pioneer 112D DVDRW drive. The problem is that the dvdrw drive is connected to motherboard via PCI...Sata host card in PCI slot. The dvdrw drive is not recognized in bios and i cant boot from any cd or dvd that is bootable. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Check the BIOS settings. Also would you mind listing the controller card?
