Hello,
So something happened to my HD last night and when it restarted the message "no operating system found" came up. I put in the XP cd and booted from it in hopes of doing a repair, but there is not that option. What can I do to fix this??
Thanks a lot

Thanks again

Have you heard of backing up your user files to an external HDD or CD?

ok nevermind i guess, apparently the seagate HDD diagnostic is the too to fix whatever problem i was having. i think it may have been a boot file problem since I have a dual boot on the machine
