https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.asp?ID=9261887

19" LCD
250GB Seagate Barracuda (I got 500gb external drive)
500w PSU
Cooler Master Case
FoxConn Mobo
2GB DDR2 667mhz Kingston
Intel Core Duo 1.6ghz
Logitech Wireless keyboard and mouse

Price comes down to $537.00 but it has a $85 rebate..... makes it $452 including shipping...
The mobo has onboard video and also has a PCI Express slot, so I will upgrade the video card next year when I have more money... I'm not a big gamer anyways.....
So.... how would you improve my build??

i am impressed with how low the price can be for a computer.

just one thought about it, 500watt psu may be overkill for this low end build.

i would like to know which foxconn motherboard you chose.

Ditto on the overkill PSU. Do you have a video card to use with it already?

BTW, I couldn't load up your wish list, so I'm not sure with MOBO specifically or anything.

Well the PSU is because I plan on adding a video card next year when I have a little bit more money...

Are you OCing this? If so, then I think you got yourself a sleeper (meaning, it'll surprise you in a good way). Just be sure to add some better cooling than a stock HSF.

What would you want to do with this computer, anyways? Moderate gaming, everyday computing/word processing?

Just basic stuff like go online download movies and stuff... I do play games occasionally like CS Source... and stuff but I'll buy a decent video card next year when I have some more money....
I'm trying to understand what's so bad about the mobo??? I dont plan on having more than 2GB ram.... plus its like half the price of every other one
