I would think that would be a good guess...
 
either that or some announcement about some up and comming tech, which will more than likely be less than exciting....
 
PLUS lets not forget this is the inquirer and the information can be dodgey at best sometimes.

It's all hype. Just about everything AMD has said this past year has been hype. And look where we stand right now...nowhere.

Does anyone remember the original Black Edition hype? With the snake and all that? People were getting so excited, and after weeks of marketing hype all they got was a multi unlocked X2!

 
 
AMD's Dark side?

It could be an ATI related announcement.
Possibly Dual-Core GPUs or something along those lines.
 
I doubt there is any truly good news that could come from the CPU portion.  The ATI division could put out something.

Hell what am I saying.......it's AMD, it can only be good news at this point.

a 3 Ghz + phenom at 45nm  to release by Christmas that actually beats Intel. LOL I wish.
