Horizontal Span & Radeon X1950 Pro

Hey guys

I did a search but didn't come up with anything so I figured I'd ask..

I currently have a Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro 256 and I use that with a single monitor (1440x900).

I want to get another monitor later today and I want to know if it will be possible to set them to horizontal span (wont be using dual view).

The reason I ask is because I do not see the option in the control center. Once I add another monitor will the option appear? I'd like to know before purchasing. Would really appreciate it if someone could help.

I'm going to be running multiple copies of WOW and I was told that dual view will cut my fps in half.

P.S. - I'm assuming the monitor I purchase has to be the same resolution as my current one. Am I right?
