Hi,

I have been wondering for a long time, and haven't been able to find the answer to my question.

Do nvidia graphics cards (for example the 8800gt) work on motherboards that aren't nForce boards (e.g. the intel x38 range)?????????

More specifically, will the 8800gt work on a asus P5W64 WS?

Please help me i have been trying to find this out for ages!!

Thanks, Ed

You can only run SLi on nforce boards, crossfire can run on the X38, don't confuse SLi and CF

You may run an Nvidia card on almost any board with a PCI-e 16x slot. The only thing you may not do if the board is not nforce is run SLI.
