Question about adding another raid array

Hi there, I recently ran out of room on my raid 1 array. So I decided to buy new bigger ones then build a new computer and put my old drives in there as a backup computer. I bought all the stuff, but I just realized the mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128338 doesn't have onboard RAID.

So would it be better to return it and buy another microatx mobo with onboard raid, buy a controller card, or go with a software based raid setup?

depends what your budget is and what you want to do in the future... by the sounds of things you would be better off returning the board and getting an onboard controller support
