i seem to have a problem there is a constant high pitch noise but if i have mic playback on in audio and set it dead low it sort of cancels it out sort of but if i set it really high i can actually hear what being played into my headset, at a very poor quality, pritty sure not the headset. might try get a cheap soundcard in town see if that sort it

I got rid of a screeching noise by downloading the latest drivers off my motherboard's website.

soundcard fixed it easily enough, just had to get a SB audigy SE. nice sound card as well so helps out a lot .
