Dell Axim AC Cradle Charge

I have a Dell Axim x50v. My handheld won't charge via the AC adapter
from the cradle (however it will charge in the cradle via USB). I can
charge using the AC adapter if I plug the adapter directly into the
Axim. So, in summary, the Axim charge in the cradle via USB, and the AC
adapter directly, but not by AC in the cradle.

Has anyone heard of this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Thanks!
