Q6600 Drivers ?

Hi,

i have a question for the Q6600 CPU. Its been years since i got a Intel CPU, i've always been with AMD before. With my AMD dual-core, there were drivers that i had to install to "optimize" the dual-core.

I just want to know if its the same thing with the Q6600. Are there drivers or utilities to install to "optimize" the quad-core performance ?

Nope. No special drivers or software. Just plug the thing in. The real reason AMD released the optimizer software was to counter issues with asyncronous TSC's. Don't run the AMD software with your Intel chip, or black ooze will seep from your case as malformed gremlins liquify your internal components with napalm.
