Hi
I have a quick question, very easy to answer (for you :) ). I just want to make sure. I am very new to building systems and that is what I will try to do in few days, so I would very appreciate your help

The power supply that I oredered:
Corsair 520W SLI Certified Modular ATX Power Supply - CMPSU-520HX
http://www.buy.com/prod/corsair-520w-sli-certified-modular-atx-power-supply/q/loc/101/203270716.html

The motherboard that I bought:
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128059

And my questions are:
The connectors that are comming out from power supply are:
24-pin power cable - that one that I will use
4-pin +12V - that that I will use
8-pin +12V - I don't need one, isn't right? I can put it on the side, right?

Another question.
The case that I ordered is:
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021&Tpk=antec%2b900

The PSU is going on the bottom of the case. Does the fan that is located inside the PSU should faced the top or bottom of the case?

I know those are very silly questions but just like I said I am very new to building computers and I don't have manuals yet ( hardware is on the way), and I have read the forum for a while so I know you are really experts.
I apprieciate your help
thx

There is a 8pin connector on the PSU that you can use in the mainboard, use it instead of the 4 pin. (mobo will still run with 4pin but prefers the 8pin)

No air flow if you jam the fan up against the case. point the fan towards open space

thanks for replay
I don't think I have 8 pin connector on my motherboard. What is in there: 24pin ATX main power connector and 4pin ATX 12V power connector. I dont see any of 8-pin ATX 12V. If that is perfectly true, what do I have to do with that (useless) 8-pin connector?
thx
