Hi all at tomshardware

i am about to purchase my new pc and i would like to know if my current monitor will fit into the gigabyte 8800GT

monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 710MP

i dont know what the cable is called connecting monitor to pc but i know it is blue :)
urm all i have seen on pictures of 8800GT cards are 2 white ports, will my screen fit? :S

or is there an adaptor included with the graphics card?

i really hope i dont need to buy a new screen

help would be great :)

I can't be for sure - looking at your monitor specs now - but I think the blue cable on the monitor is a VGA adapter. The 8800GT should come with two DVI (the white adapter you see in pictures) to VGA converters. So if that's the case, it will work just fine.

 

*edit* Checked your monitor specs - You're good to go.
