Ok, here is my build I'm getting ready to order. Does anyone see anything wrong with this? Any additions or subtractions I should make? All of these items are in stock and ready to ship.

If I can save some $ somewhere I'd be willing to discuss options. I'm looking for the best machine for the money.
The Case/MB were the hardest to pick out in my opinion.

I know aboout the 8800GT, however after rebate the GFX card is only $302!

Thanks all!

Final Note: I'm in NO HURRY for this, should I wait for Christmas Sales or Even next year? I can get 12 months interest free financing thru NewEgg up until 2/29/08!

I don't know what happened, but it was only showing the case, it's fixed now! Please review this setup.

I'm not going SLI, and I'm not really an overclocker, but I like to have that as an option. Also I wanted a Mid Tower Case, but could not really find a case with room for a BIG GFX card without bad reviews. If I can move down to a roomy Mid Tower, that has great cooling for overclocking, and a GFX card I'd consider it!

I looked at the following:

ideas?

Thanks everyone!

You have selected an 8800GTS graphics card. The 8800GT is a better one, and cheaper. Especially since you can wait, the price may even drop a little. I see you say you know about this card, but given the lack of hurry, you may even wait for nVidia's next product release, or check for deals after Christmas.
You have chosen a CoolerMaster PSU. Except for a few (other) models on Tier-4, these units live on Tier-5 ("Do not buy") of the list at http://www.tomswiki.com/page/Tiered+PSU+Listings?t=anon I would suggest choosing one from Tier-3 or better. Considering that you appear to have a $2000 budget, and with the money you save getting an 8800GT, and possibly a lower price case (I like the low-end CoolerMaster cases), you should have no problem picking up something like a Tier-2 Corsair CMPSU-520HX, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139001
I wouldn't know, but I've read many comments from people who say they experience lag in games with wireless mice, or have battery issues. I really like my G5; others prefer Razer.
Did you mean to choose two DVD burners? If so, get the Retail package on only one of them, as you only need one copy of the software that comes with them. Eh, save $7 or so...
You may wish to see if your preferred software will work with Vista. There is a compatibility list at http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List. If not, or you aren't sure, XP is a safe alternative.

The 8800GT is not in stock right now, and it's actually MORE money that this 8800GTS after the rebate which is why I picked it. Thanks for the reference site for the powersupplies, I'll check it out.

New Eggs selection of Keyboards and Mice needs much to be desired. I'd rather have a wired Keyboard and Mouse. Actually I'm not a gamer, this will be a business machine, with gaming capabilities. It's only $2 difference for the OEM version of the DVD, I'll pay the $2 for the screws and cable.

Thanks for your comments!

Depending on how much gaming will actually be done on this machine, you may be able to drop back considerably on the video card. The HD3850 might be a good choice, or a HD2600.
You're likely to get extra cables with your mobo, and extra screws with your case, but for $2 you can always stick the extras in an old vitamin bottle for the next mod or upgrade :pt1cable: .

The last game I actually played was F.E.A.R. and Doom 3. I just want to be able to play a game when one catches my eye. Doom 3 was horrible on my current GFX card. A Geforce 5200 so I'm looking for a decent card.
