I have a 8800gts-640 which runs quite decently with two monitors in dualview. A samsung 305T at 2560x1600 and a 244T at 1920x 1200. I play games on the 305T and the other monitor just sits there with e-mail, and perhaps some performance monitors. The thought occurred to me that if I added a pci 6600 card ( I have only 1 pci-e slot) the entire resources of the 8800GTS would be available for games. Is anybody doing this? Is there any measureable benefit? Any downside considerations?
