i think the E2160+Gigabyte 650i mobo is a poor combination of both CPU and Mobo.as both of them seem like a poor overclocker in their own league.but this is a budget build only cost £330 along with 2G OCZ XTC 800mhz and 9600GT so no other choice.and he wanted SLI in future upgrade,so that further limit my choice to 650i:(

anyway i have setup a system with these 2 component.and while i try to OC it max out at ???i really dont know to be honest.because i have tried 333x9@1.45v wont POST at all and just reset itself.then i try jump to 350x9@1.45v booted.so obviously this mobo suffer from FSB hole.but when i got into windows load up prime95 it restart.so i apply more vcore and just up NB+FSB by 1 nothc just in case.but then again failed!

so i lowered the multiplier to 8X and it ran fine at 375x8@1.5v.i know for 3ghz the vcore is high.but the vdroop is so big that i only get 1.456v idle and 1.440v load with 1.5v BIOS.with this setting it passed 8hours of prime.with NB+FSB +0.1v

anyone has and idea where each CPU and Mobo will go if you have either.

thanks in advance.
