it seem like my max out at 3ghz@1.5v with the 650i SLI mobo.

what is your result and what chipset did you use?

I was able to run @ 3.2 12 hours small FFT 12 hours blend, ~1.54 in BIOS on a DS3L

3-3.2. with stock cooling. Probably higher on a better mobo and bettre cooling, not much and it wouldnt be worth the investment.

Sadly, all the newer E2160s I've seen were some high VID ones. I forgot what, but it was like 1.35V.

I get the feeling that the earlier models of the E2160 OC'ed better, since I remember people hitting 3.4GHz on them.

My 4 month old 2160 has a VID of 1.35V. Stuck at 3.2GHz, but I'm cool with that. :sol:

the high VID 1.325V.and the Vdroop is pretty bad on the Gigabyte mobo.about 0.5v.
