Hey, I have some extra parts from when I built my current system, so I was thinking of getting some new stuff to add to that. I don't know what I would do with this new system, I'd probly find somewhere to put it, lol. Anyway I wondred if anyone wanted to help me out, I'm trying to keep it around $300-$350 CAD. Here's what I have so far:

want to buy this:

XFX Geforce 7300GS 256MB PCI-E video card - $52.99
Pentium Dual Core E2140 1.6Ghz 1MB cache 800Mhz fsb - $74.99
Seagate 80GB SATA2 7200Rpm HDD - $48.99
Cooler Master 550watt PSU - $64.99
722-2 Black front usb ATX case - $44.99

Total: $286.95 +tax

I already have the RAM and Mobo:

ASUS P5B LGA775 AtX mobo.
OCZ 2GB Value pro 667MHz PC5400.

Also can I get a good overclock on the E2140 with the retail HSF?? (like 2.6Ghz)

TIA for any input on this.

You will be limited by the PSU if you plan on OC'ing. I'd suggest spending another 15 bux for an antec earthwatts 500 from newegg.

Yes the video card won't be much of a gamer.

Well I do plan on playing a few games, but I already have a great Video card in my other system, so that's kinda why I didn't think I needed a high end card here. As for the PSU, I guess maybe I need to look at PCP&C or OCZ or something? 400-500watts with a solid 12V rail should do the job, I think. Mainly this will be a multipupose PC, kinda what I do with my current rig. (torrents, Office, browsing, games, movies etc.)
