I hooked my bad HDD as a slave drive I was able to read everything but one director, and thats the one that I need. When I try and read whats there I'm told access is denied. Is there someway to get around this I can't send it out to be fix as it has court documents on it? Please help.....

Use a Linux LiveCD, like Ubuntu to read and transfer the data.
