You could use any current wireless adapter model as they are usually backwards compatible.
But for the best performance as, I believe, N standards are not fully normalised across all brands you would probably be better off using the appropriate D-Link model.
You may also find that as the terminology used in manuals is more consistent, installation will seem simpler.
