Newegg has a few models that cost under $220 but they all only have 256MB, I was thinking about buying the Radeon HD3870 but I can't even find it for $230, I was reading the Reviews and it looks like the 8800GT has better performance.
Is the 256MB 8800GT faster than the Radeon HD3870 ?????

No it isnt. The 256mb 8800GT is comparable to the HD3850... but not the HD3870.
