Okay, I have searched the internet, microsoft and done very little wpa etc registry change to no avail.
How the heck do I get Windows activation loop to stop. I have a real WXP disk, its a fresh install, and I have gone through the telephone activation process three times. Every time I logon, it asks me to activate Wxp. I do it and it says its activated, yet I cant logon. I even reinstalled WXP with no passwords so it would go straight through to the OS. Nothing, it still throws an ADMINISTRATOR login box to click, going through the activation loop again.
I have been through this two years ago on my laptop, and it turned out to be something somewhat simple, bit for the life of me I cant remember how to stop this nonsense.
Please help.
Its a WXP Pro disk on my desktop pc.

Try booting into safe mode. Any difference there?
