hmmm then you are definetly gotta look at something refurbed as you pointed out.

2 things mainly wrong with the choice you made was... the GPU is onboard and will not give you gaming performance at all period. and the Pentium D's sucked big time. Vista with 1gb of RAM will be dicey also.

Mabye if you got that machine you suggested and sludged for something like this

It would put you over budget but at least you could play games, but the CPU and RAM would hold you back somewhat
