Hi -

I am trying to set up a Windows complete PC backup, but when asked where I want to save, my second hard drive is not showing in the dropdown list.

The drive is visible in windows explorer, and is functional - backup just does not see it.

There is plenty of space on it, nearly 600GB.

I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

Any ideas?

From what I remember about Windows Backup, it won't allow you to back-up to a drive which is included IN the backup.

Makes sense... though I am not trying to backup drive C to drive C, I am trying to backup C to D.

When I run backup, the first step is it asks is where I want to back up to, THEN it asks what drives I want to back up.

So, if I want to backup drive C to drive D, I can't, because because D isn't even listed on the first step.

Rebooted, updated. No luck.

What other details would help?
