Free antivirus programs

Hello,
What are the best free antivirus programs you can install on your computer? And does it also protect from other dangers (i.e. worms, trojans, etc.)?

Here is a recent review. I use AVGFree and MS-Security Essentials (two different computers); they do identify worms and trojans.

Always a good idea to boot up in Safe Mode (F8 key during power up) and run a scan there every so often.

It's also a good idea to use a web-based anti-virus scan from time to time.
A couple good options: TrendMicro Housecall or BitDefender Online Scanner
