Hey guys,

This is a dumb question that's probably been asked before. Nvidia is advertised with Intel and ATI w/ AMD...does that mean that they won't run as well on the opposite processor? I have an X1950 pro in my old Intel Pentium 4 that works alright. But I want to build a new PC with the Q6600. Can I throw in the ATI HD 3870 in there and get full potential on the card or do i have to buy Nvidia. I'd love to be able to get an 8800 Ultra and blow gaming away, but I can save significant $$$ by going ATI. Give me your thoughts...

You'd be fine with either, both will get full potential with the Q6600.
