So since my computer sometime later this week, I decided I was going to overclock the crap out of the sucky computer I have now, just for fun, since I won't be using it past this week. I noticed, however, on Everest Home Edition, that it says my card is running at AGP 4x bandwidth. It is a really really old Radeon 8500 128Mb card, but it should have support for 8x bandwidth. I couldn't find any options to change on my SiS 661GX mobo's BIOS, so I was wondering how I could force 8x bandwidth.

maybe the mobo doesn't support 8x?

The Radeon 8500 is a AGP 4x Card. ATI didn't introduce 8x cards until the 9700 came out.

Yes, like the guy said above, the Radeon 9700 was the first 8x AGP card. On the bright side, even if it did support 8x bandwidth, there would be no performance diff. from 4x.

Hm. Alright then. I will continue to try and overclock my computer - My Celeron D 331 is running at 3.2 GHz no problems, hopefully I can get it higher without having to change the voltage, since there's no option to change it in my BIOS.
