hi there everyone

i have a big question, im making my first build

msi p35d3
corsair 500w psu
nvidia 8800 gts 320mb
kingston ddr3 1066 1 gbx2= 2gb
wd 500 sata2

yust need the cpu,i was thinking for a 6750, but i waited for the penryn types now on january, specially the e8400, but i have a problem, i have heard that my board supports 45 nm processors, but the bios that it includes is 1.0, and on the msi website it needs an update, the 1.2 version for the new cpu microcode , i can update a bios but i have a problem, if i buy the e8400 how will i update the bios? will the board reject the processor? will it not even let me boot for a floppy update? or will i have to get someones elses processor a "conroe" for me to update the bios?

please help this is very frustrating. thank you

Motherboards have a build in utility to update the bios. You will be fine with the uP installed even though it's "unrecognized". Follow MSI instructions in the manual to update the bios. (I don't have MSI)
