I need a good inexpensive gaming monitor. I am looking at the dell 22 in that comes with their XPS system 2208 WFP or the Samsung on Newegg.com

Any comments on which one would be a better gaming monitor?

I have a cheep 245BW and I love it. Far from the best gaming monitor you can get, but it's still nice IMHO.

Both 3000:1 Contrast Ratio, both 2ms response times and both clear like the florida sky (since i live in FL).. I love them and I wouldnt trade for any other brand. Kind of pricey, but if you have the money, no substitute.

With prices as they are now, I would be leaning towards something that was 1920 x 1200. And if you can, go and see it. I wouldn't put much faith in advertised response times. One can pretty much guarantee that every monitor manufacturer (except Eizo) exaggerates there response time.....and "inexpensive" can't be used to classify any of their monitors.
