Ok I am really confused over this.....I am getting a evga 8800GT but the confusion is should I get a core clock 650mhz super clocked version of should i just get a 600Mhz normal version. Is there actually a difference...my friend tells me that he only gets around 3 or 4 frames more. hardly any difference so can anyone help me out on this. How much a difference will i actually experience between the 2 cards.
Alot of people just get the stock (600/1800) and o'c it themselves.
I had the same thought choosing between the stock (600), SC (650), KO (675), or SSC (700).
I went with the SC (650) and have it o'c to SSC.
This way I was garanteed a 650 clock out of the box. This is not to say a 600 clock card could not be o'cd to 700+, but no 2 cards will o'c the same.

There have been multiple instances where the stock card (as it was sold) was in fact clocked at the same speeds as the superclocked one (650). There are people on this forum who can back me up on that, should they pop in
Of course, it isn't necessarily guaranteed because it is listed as a stock card.

I know this is true but I didn't know this when I ordered mine Oct29th. Could of saved $20-$30 but my luck I would of got the stock-clocked.
