Security for headless seeding machine

Hi, I've just setup a Win7Ultimate 32bit headless seeding/download machine. Its an old Pentium D 3.2 Ghz 1G RAM. I should need firewall/anti virus/anti malware app but I prefer not to use those integrated resource hungry apps like Comodo (which I am using now in other machines at home). I thought of using Win7 native firewall and perhaps Avast free. Before my new headless machine, I was using a headless XP machine with native firewall and Avast free. I won't be using the new machine other than its sole purpose of seeding/downloading.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for your recommendation. Have had a look at MSE but I felt that "general view" is that while it is light, detection is not as good. I think I will just go with the devil I know - Avast AV free. Many thanks.
