Hey guys just found out that my PC (kentsfield 3.00Ghz, striker extreme, Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 DHX PC2-6400C4DHX (2x1GB) x2, 8000gtx x2) doesnt work because of the ram type.
Can anyone recommend a type of ram that will work with 4gb's of it in an Extreme Striker motherboard?

Don't know where you got your info, but ASUS actually recommends Corsair XMS right on their web site.
You might try tweaking the voltage to 2.1 in BIOS.

If you are running Vista it has to be patched to work with 4Gb, I have 4*1Gb Corsairs in this board, I had to set the memory voltage to 2.1 after I patched.
Running very well now!
Just checked, this is the kit I am using, wasn't on the approved list last I looked, but I think the OP is using approved....
