I just finished my first rig and everything is working great (well if you consider windows ever working)  However whenever I boot an error message pops up saying that the secondary master drive is atapi incompatible but then continues booting and everything works fine. I am using RAID by setting the BIOS to sata config. --> set sata as RAID and using the intel storage matrix config to set my two WD 500Gb hardrives as RAID 0. The only other sata drive on my comp is my cd drive which still works and I have already installed stuff on my comp so its not like it doesn't work.. my rig is in my sig.
Any help would be appreciated :D

I have seen that message if you manually set the drive to CD/DVD rom then move it elsewhere. Is the bios set to auto detect on boot?

yeah that fixed it. I set the sata config back to ide then when I could see the individual cd-rom i set the setting as auto instead of cd-rom. I then switched back to raid and eyeryone's happy! :pt1cable:
