Hi all!

I have a Gigabyte GA-945GCMX-S2 v6.6 motherboard and I want to install a WinXP on the PC.
I have looked for a few hours for the SATA driver to integrate to the installation disc - I can't find it.

1. Northbridge: IntelĀ® 945GC Express Chipset
2. Southbridge: IntelĀ® ICH7
3. Realtek 8110SC Gigabit Ethernet controller
4. Realtek ALC888 audio codec

If you have a SP2 or SP3 install disc, it will have the SATA driver on it.

Thanks for your reply :)

I have slipstream the SP3 to the XP disc - it did not recognize the HDD. the HDD is fine, I had linux (Ubuntu) istalled on it.

Did you check your BIOS settings? You need to enable the SATA options.
