Hey, this is my first time, that I tried raiding two drives together so please bare with me. I have the ASUS Rampage Formula mobo, and im using 2 Western Digital WD6400AAKS drives.

My problem that I have atm is how i "raided" my drives. I first change in the bios to the raid setting for the drives, then I configured them, in the raid menu where you hit crtl i, and raided the drives. But I couldn't install the windows vista os (i couldn't get the driver thing). So what I did next is I only partioned 75 GB from one drive, and then installed the os. Then after I installed i, i used the Intel Matrix Storage Console to create a raid volume from existing hard drive, and I guessed I set it to use 100% of the drive in raid. So supposedly I get like 596.1 Gb x2 = 1192.2 Gb to use. But from what i see after migration is only the 75 GB partion I made earlier. Is there anyway to do more partions besides the 75 gb, and also, how can I get access or use the rest of my hd? Thanks.

Configure you hard drives to raid in bios, create raid volume, raid 0 or whatever raid you want, then load vista and when it ask for raid drivers you need them on a floppy, or a usb flash drive, and choose the right drivers for your board, then you have the full use of all your drive space. I have never tried to do it with vista already installed.
