I have an old ATA hard drive and have put it in a external hard drive case. I plugged it into my laptop through USB and turned it on, and after couple of seconds it gives me error and computer crashes.

This is what I get:

I need data from that this, what do you think is it possible to recover it, and how can I achieve that?

Thanks in advance.

btw it does the same thing when you put it in PC normally without the external case(of course, normal PC not laptop)
