I ordered a 3870 recently and am expecting it to come later this week (perhaps Thursday). I'm currently running a 7600GT. Before I drop the 3870 in should I first uninstall the drivers and all the other nvidia stuff? Will this just default back to windows vista drivers? For the 3870 drivers should i install the ones that come on the CD (visiontek if it matters), or go with online ati drivers? If so which are the best ones to get for this card?

Uninstall the GFX drivers. Use drivercleaner if you can be arsed to buy it ($10?)

Install the new card and then the drivers from ATI / visiontek website. Chances are the ones on the CD are out of date
