Hi,

What does the Bios Fan autoregulation means?
Is it expected to change CPU cooler RPM under different cpu loads?
Can I hope to see that when PC is almost idle also coolers slows down remarkably?


Right now the CPU rotation is almost fixed - deviating between 850-855 under different loads.
I have 2 mobos with same cpu's behaving in the same manner.
And I don't know is it normal, explained with cpu stepping or is there a BIOS bug or something.
(while actually Intel desktop utilities doesn't show any stepping)

The motheboard is Intel DQ35JO and CPU is E6550.
