For this set up you need at leasyt 600+ power supply, if you want a stable system, if you pretend use SLI you may consider 650 or 700+ power suppy's!!

First off, look to the tier lists and what PSUs are in the tier 2 or tier one catagories. Then use a PSU calculator to figure out the total anticipated wattage range you need. Since you are intending SLI in the future and may overclock, you can plug that into the calculator. You can find references to these on a sticky that's in the forums under CPU and Components, power supplies. The sticky is by Jake Barnes.

The next thing you might do is check out jonnyguru.com for reviews of specific PSUs.

From what you give on equipment, with SLI and some mild overclocking, you should get by with a PSU of 550wt-600wt size range. If you add more hardware or oveclock to high numbers, add another 100wts.

Corsair HX, Seasonic S12, PC P&C, and Thermaltake Toughpower are among many that are shown in the teir lists which are good.

Yep, that's a good one. Good price, good reputation, and modular cables so you only use what you need and don't clutter the case with unused cables.

Wow thanks for all the recomendations, I got into this psu wattage simulator

http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

And put that my cpu was overcloked and a pair of 8800 gt and got a maximun total wattage of 743 w. I guess this mean I should stick to a psu of 700-750 w. I look at the list of tier's (wow didn't even knew such list existed, is very helpfull) and chose the next ones:

Ocz Gamexstream 700w (Tier 2)
http://www.amazon.com/Ocz-Gamexstream-700w-Power-Supply/dp/B000Z3A1HO/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198251587&sr=1-8
147 $

Thermaltake W0117RU ToughPower 750W (Tier 3)
http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-W0117RU-ToughPower-Supply-Active/dp/B000FKIQTM/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198252924&sr=1-1
164.51 $

Thermaltake W0105RU Toughpower 700W (Tier 3)
http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-W0105RU-Toughpower-Express-Connectors/dp/B000FKQ5V8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198253135&sr=1-1
164.99 $

I like better the first or the second but I'm not sure wich one to pick. By the way I can only buy in amazon since no other page delivers to my country (Venezuela)

thanks

The Thermaltake Toughpower PSUs that you list are rated tier 2, by the way. I own a Toughpower 700wt and it has done very well so far. If you are getting a result of 743wt from the calculator, the Toughpower 750wt model would be the better one to buy. It received a high recommendation from Jonnyguru, same as the PC P&C. Both are good PSUs. I don't know enough about the OCZ Gamextreme 700wt to say anything about it, but again, if you calculated 743wt, it would be a bit too small.
