Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a new motherboard for my homebuilt system and the question thats been annoying me is whether it will be possible to use my existing windows installation or install a fresh copy of the operating system from the CD I currently have after I've installed the motherboard without having to contact Microsoft for a code allowing me to do this. I know this has been a problem for a few of my friends before when they wanted to use a copy of windows they already owned.

Many thanks in advance and your help would be much appreciated
