Small problem with motherboard purchase

I've been buying parts for a new build for about a year. Problem is, I stupidly bought my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 rev.1) about a year but held off on buying my processor (waiting for prices to come down). Now I'm "stuck " with a board that can't run the new E6X50 processors which is what I really want. It doesn't seem to make much sense to buy an E6600 at this time right considering the E6X50 outperform it and are cheaper? I've bought 2gigs of high quality RAM and my PS is good (Corsair 620W). I'll also have a good video card (8800GT 512) if Dell ever ships it. So what processor makes the most sense consdiering the MB I already have? I was leaning towards an E6420 but it's only $25 cheaper than the E6600. How about the E6320 or is it not $50 better than the E4500? Also, I thought I read someone saying my MB has problems with processors (E4XXX) that have 800fsb but I wouldn't see why. I think I'm leaning towards the E4500 but wanted to get some opinions. Thanks.
