I'm looking at either building or buying an HTPC. If I buy an HP Media Center - like this one:

-can I change the case in the future if I feel like it? Or does HP use a proprietary motherboard that won't let me? Thanks!

Hi Chrome Sushi,

according to the link you gave, that PC uses a micro ATX motherboard which most cases are beginning to support nowadays, especially HTPC cases, so I don't think you should have any problems swapping case in the future, although I can't guarantee it! Just make sure the case you get supports Micro ATX motherboards.

hope this helps you
