If i have a 8800gts 320 mb, and i want a second monitor... I can just plug and play right? And I understand i have to go to properties, settings, and click the button to enable the windows to go onto the second screen. I do not have that option now.. Will it come up when i plug in my second monitor? Thanks
Sometimes that option will be available in display properties, but sometimes you'll have to go into nvidia's control panel to enable using two monitors. It depends on what driver package you are using.
Typically, if you plug a second monitor in, then restart, it will startup with both monitors enabled in clone display mode. Then right click the desktop, go into NVidia Control Panel, and under display and setup multiple displays you can find the option that fits what you like the most.
